ABOUT

Natasha Slastina

Natasha Slastina was born and raised in Ulan-Ude, Russia, where she passed long Siberian winters painting, knitting, and sewing her own clothes.

As an adult in early 2000s she moved to San Francisco, California where she started an eBay store selling clothes to make a living. Before long, she stumbled upon a niche - plus-size Renaissance and gothic-inspired clothing and launched her brand Dare Fashion.

After moving to Mexico and selling Dare she went on a soul-searching quest to see if there was something else she wanted to be besides an artist and designer. Turned out, there wasn’t. 😂 She took up painting again and a new art form - jewelry! She learned from scratch with hardware-store wire and seaglass and shells found on the beach. Little by little her skills grew and she started spending a lot of money buying stones.😁 To learn silver-smithing skills she briefly went to a jewelry school in San Miguel de Allende. And here we are today!
